Considering how this problem happens and how Windows 10 behaves it is pretty safe to say that this should be one of main issues behind hamachi and other vpn services like evolve etc not working correctly in windows 10 while trying to play games. NOTE: While it might help a lot of people since it is how by default Windows10 works it might not be answer for all issues. And you can now ping people in your hamachi network/tunggle and any other service which worked like shit after switching to windows 10. Uncheck that box and change that number to 10īang. In new window at the bottom you will have automatic metric checkbox and some number under it.Then Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).Choose your hamachi adapter and then properties.My friend who has internet via wifi didn't have issues. This for example happens if you connect your internet via wire and then add hamachi. It turns out that Windows 10 has some weird prioritization where if you add more than 1 lan/vpn network then some protocols will assume your first lan connected is default one and some protocols would try to fire trough that connection not via hamachi. I could host some games but i couldn't connect to people who hosted games. People could ping me but i couldn't ping them. I had issue establishing good connection. I spend shitload of time trying to figure out hamachi (and other vpn like services issues).
